Program Descriptions:
Preschool Gymnastics- Gymnastics
classes for ages 18 months through 5 year olds are designed to help boys and girls develop their motor skills & coordination.
Children will work on skills ranging from forward roll, backward, & cartwheel on floor, skills on bars, and beam . Additionally, socail
skills such as following directions, manners and team work is incorportated into each class. All of the apparatus
is made smaller, just for preschoolers. Each class begins with stretching and ends with a good-bye song as well
as a stamp for a job well done! Developmental Gymnastics - Beginner Classes for Girls will work on beginning skills on bars, beam, vault
& floor exercises,w hich include cartwheels, round-offs, and back walk over. These skills will help children improve
with strength, flexibility, coordination, as well as following directions , team work and manners. Once all beginner
skills (as well as following directions) are achieved, students are asked to move to Intermediate class. Boys Gymnastics classes work on skills involving
floor excercises and tumbling, parallel bars, rings, high bar & pommel horse. The skills taught in these classes
helps to build muscle and strength as well as coordination and flexibility. Cheer Skills& Tumbling -
In the Cheer Skills & Backhandspring Classes, all aspects of cheerleading are covered,
such as jumps, voice projection, spiriting, motions, ettiquette , tryout rules, etc. In this class, students
will also learn drills & work on skills towards getting their backhandspring. Exercises taught will help to strengthen
students as well as improve flexibility, which is a necessity in cheering and tumbling. In the Backhandspring classes, the focus is getting the backhandspring without having to have a spotter.
There are no cheer skills covered in this class. Advanced Tumbling
classes are for those students who can do their backhandspring without having to have a spotter and want to further their
tumbling.
Squad and Group times
available for Micro-midgets, Midgets, Pee Wees, Jr. Varsity, Varsity. Squads or Groups must have at least 10 participants,
and they do receive a discounted tuition. Call the office for more information!! Important Notice You
may make your payments using your Debit/Credit Card. You can either come into the office and pay, or you can call and give your Debit/Credit Card information.
