Welcome to Fall classes
Welcome and thank you for coming to Shoals
Gymnastics and Cheer. You will be a part of a very exciting group that has a lot to learn each day. Please remember
that it is important to be ready for class each day. You can do that by wearing the right clothes, having your hair
put up and clipped out of your face, and by going to the bathroom before class.
You have so much to learn! Each week the lesson plan will include
something new and will also review what you learned the week before. You will participate on three or four events each
week. That may include floor, vault, beam or bars.
It is important that we are always kind to each other. Your teachers ask that you
pay attention in class and that you answer your teachers with respect. They will do the same for you.
Class is planned so everyone has turns.
If for some reason, you missed your turn, please let your teacher know! We will correct that immediately.
We have a Holiday Day Camp in December.
We start on Monday, December 20th and finish Wednesday, December 22nd. The camp has an early drop off at 7:45am
and finishes at 5:00pm. We will stay until 5:30 for late pick-up. The camp is full of gymnastics, games, crafts
and afternoon movie, two snacks a day, and one lunch. The cost of the three day camp is $150.00, and that does include
your snacks and lunch. Spend part of your holidays with us for super fun and super savings. Save on child care
fees and spend the savings on the holidays!. You get 24-25 hours for six dollars an hour. Sign up now, and pay
your $50.00 deposit by September 27th to reserve your camp spot. You must be five years old to attend (discount for
siblings).

Christmas and New Years: Wednesday, December 22, 2010- Sunday, January 2, 2011
Monday, May 30th - Sunday June 5th, 2011
Summer schedule starts Monday, June 5th, 2011
The last day of summer classes is Friday, July
29th, 2011
If bad
weather should occur and if schools close, we will also.
We will do our best to leave an answering message and post closings on the website.
Parents, be sure and sign all the paperwork
for your child(ren) this week. We will need everything completed before September starts.
Our teachers try and speak to parents every
chance we have, but often times it is impossible between classes. Please leave a message in the office if you need to
speak with Ms. Deb. She will return most calls the following morning after the message has been left. We are excited
to share the wonderful world of gymnastics with you and your family!
